weekend in Halifax Nova Scotia( photo heavy post)

(Casino..2 tall glass buildings in the background)

Hey everyone,
I hope everyone is having a great summer so far..
I went to Halifax on the weekend.About 2 1/2 hour
drive each way.It was a beautifull day 31 degrees
out.I wanted to go to photo memories to get scrapbook
 supplies that I can't find here ...We have a  micheal's ,
a Walmart and a local scrapbook shop but I wanted
something different.I was disapointed at the variety they
 carried ...
then  went to the waterfront and had supper at
Murphys.( scallops yum)..we got a habor side
table with an open window so we could smell
 the sea air
and watched the sailboats in the harbor...

Theadore tugboat

unique water to land tour boat..harbor tour then drives on the streets for city tour...

We shopped the local shops and malls then headed home again...
I couldn't believe I forgot my camera....
I took a few pics from the Net to show those of you that
dont know the area  what we saw and how
pretty it is...(thanks to whom ever took these pics originally)

I have included a few picks of the scrap
items I did get ( cheaper than at micheals).
so not a total loss...

Hugs
Brenda
I found a red gown yay..all were black or blue around home :)
and I love plaid and stiped papers....

Sounds like you had fun in halifax! Photo memories is kind of hit or miss, they can get some beautiful things, but it really depends what your looking. They also don't have fast turnover of product.
There are a few really small stors, out of people's homes that are worth a visit though. One lady has lots of Cricut and Cuttlebug stuff, and good prices. She can order in almost anything! They would be worth checking out next time. Let me know if you want some names, or addresses.
