Hi,guys.

Meeting Disney Characters-Tips for face time

Hi guys,
 I’m switching over to Disney mode :)
...today I want to share with you how to get a bit extra face time
with the Disney characters, especially your favorites. The thing I
did was make my own character T-shirts..(See pics)...I bought
cheap T's on sale, bought iron on transfer material for dark t-shirts,
looked up on the net for our fav characters pics / and /or used pics
 of us with the characters from previous trips..put tiltles around the pics
..like my first disney trip or me and my pal mickey, my 2008 Disney trip, etc
..you get the idea..i then printed it off on my computer onto the iron on
material then ironed it onto the t-shirt..(cheaper than buying t-shirts
there if budget is a concern...
As you will see in the pics it got the characters interacting with us
even more than normal
and if they hold you there
you feel less bad that you’re
holding up the line:)

Tink took time to comment on each of the 4 pics on my sons shirt especially

 warning him to not let Mickey see the pic of Minnie kissing him....

later at mgm Mickey saw the t-shirt picture and made signs ,

--i'm watching you.

which had everyone laughing and my son actually blushed which made

it even funnier(he was 16)...

Minnie let him know how pleased she was to have her picture on his shirt and

that she remembered him from the year before..

Mickey was saying oh no dale will be jealous that only chip is on the shirt

(and when he showed up ,he pretended to be hurt)...

Mulan commenting on how she like the pic and

was chip his favorite..

Dale pretended to be upset and left the picture we had to coax him back..and say he was to busy and popular for us to get a picture with him last time.... it was great fun ..and gave us lots of time for pics....( chip and dale always spend the most time with people)....
so you might want to give it a try when you go(I made one for each of us for each park day).....

Merry christmas card,Cricut's-Lyrical Letters

Hi, yet another card that I've made...It's 5x5 inches. I used bazzill’s basics paper in diamond for base of card, Cricut’s Lyrical Letters pg 67- fancy tree @ 4 1/2 inches, pg 68- ribbon @ 1 3/4 inches, gold paper from Michaels cut @ 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches for inside card, mini rub ons by making memories (Christmas 2), dollar store 3d stickers (merry Christmas sign, gift),and my mind’s eye green glitter paper from spectrum pad..

Hi,Everyone here’s another card I’ve made using Cricut's Joys of the Season cartridge.(pg 71 swirl boarder, @ 1 1/2 inches,pg 63,65 ornaments at 1 1/2 inches,pg 77 peace title @ 1 inch),gold paper found at Michaels for 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch mat for inside of card, creative memories sticker boarder-Christmas series, my mind's eye spectrum paper pad/ glittered in cream and blue...It's 5x5 inches’ used bazzill's basic paper in diamond for the card base.

This is your resort room key, dining plan pass, park ticket

And even a charge card can be added...(just be carefull not to loose it)

A cheap and fun way to remember Disney is Disney Dollars...

You can get then at almost any shop .

They can be used to buy items or save as

A trip souvenir.Kids love them.

OMG!! I'm gonna have my first card published

OMG!! I submitted my Seasons Greeting card to --making cards magazine --and I got an email saying they'd love to put it in the magazine.I just have to mail the card to them and theyll photograh it and send it back...
Its a UK mag so now ill have to find out how to get a copy when it comes out:)( she says prob Dec issue)

winter wonderland-cricut layout

Hi everyone,just finished my night shifts and had to play again with my new Winter woodland Cricut cartrdge.This layout was made by using winter woodland sleigh pg 53 @ 2 1/2 inches,horse pg 54 @ 2 1/2 inches,winter wonderland sign pg 66 @ 2 1/2 inches,snow flakes pg 32,33,34,35 @ 1 1/2 inches,Bazzill basics paper--diamond..My minds eye spectrum paper pad-(glitter paper),Darice finishing accents gems,mats were cut 4 1/2 and 4 1/2 inches.

working the weekend

Im working the weekend again .Another stretch of 4 x12hr night shifts.There will be a few days before I can put on any new projects.Have a great weekend everyone and happy crafting:)

Spectromagic Parade-layout-trip Tip

                      The Magic Kingdom has a beautiful lighted parade called Spectromagic (it doesn’t go on every night so watch for the dates...so worth it).The floats have half a million beautiful coloured lights and miles of fiber optics cables , a wonderful peacock, Mickey, Cinderella’s carriage and many other Disney characters ...


                      A very good place to sit is on the right side of the Castle on the sidewalk edge...Take your pictures facing the castle to have it in the background...makes for very nice backdrop... (You’ll need to get there to stake a spot 1 ½ - 2 hrs ahead of time and I’m not kidding)(Make time then to rest, enjoy the castle and have a night snack to pass the time, meet your neighbours from around the world...we met some lovely people)...

Disney-And I think to myself what A Wonderful World,Cricut-George and basic shapes

                                              This layout was done using Cricut's -George and basic shapes for my title “and I think to myself what a wonderful world"...indeed it is, a favourite part of my world...I love this spot near the rose garden to take pictures. As you can see you get the beautiful castle in the background...I used Bazzill paper, and Sandy lion’s Disney stickers for the layout

Cricut-New Arrivals ,baby girl album

This baby girl album was made using Martha Stewarts 8x8 chipboard white album,

I covered it with Me and My Big Ideas, pretty baby paper. (and a few 8x8 loose pages I found at Micheals)

I used cricut’s New Arrival, Storybook,Going Places,Graphically Speaking and Paper Dolls cartridges for the diecuts.(I think that's all of them)
I also glittered it up with Stickles (love them)...and inkssentials-glossy accents(dries to clear glossy finish)....

I made it for a co-worker due in October.

Refillable resort Mugs

I suggest you buy the unlimited refill mugs at your Resort. You can enjoy soda, coffee, iced tea, and hot chocolate, for the duration of your visit...If you are a distance from the restaurant the large size will help to make fewer trips back and forthe, especially after a long day at the parks.

Mickey Mouse landyard, fast pass ticket holder

                                      Just a quick post to show you this great little Mickey Mouse lanyard, ticket and fast pass holder/small change purse...I got it off eBay last year..It was so great to have a spot that was quick to access  my key to the world card and fast passes ,instead of having them in my pocket or wallet  ( could get wet on water rides)  instead of having to dig for them each time..It was under $10.00 and worth every penny...

(we get the dining plan each yr)..

This is why we plan our park days by which day ,that park is open latest

( we still get park hopper incase we need it)..so we can make the most of each park day

 and we make reservations according to which park/resort we will be near and end up having to loose less park day hours and have super good food

( both quick service spots and table service spots have good choices fast burgers if you want or full meals like above are all included)

and yes character meals are included on the dining plan:)
