Just broke down and got Design studio....I dont have a clue yet how
it works and I'd love any hints anyone can throw my way...
for example how do the cut files work?..how do you download
and install them and are there any good websites that have
tutorials you've used and found helpfull???

I love mine , I use it a lot for welding.
Over on the cricut board in criut design studio forum there are a lot of talented people willing to help and lots to share....just play with it and have fun.

Yeah! You can download cut files from anyone that post them...just save them on your PC and then open them up in your CDS software and you can cut. You do have to have the cartridge they designed with. I have several files on my site if you want to look at how some are put together. There are also videos on You Tube for getting started. Another great site is Cindy's - http://crazy4crafting.blogspot.com/

Can't give you any hints Brenda because I don't use my Cricut much but I will tell you that I don't use my Cricut without Design Studio and you're going to love it! Can't wait to see what you're going to create with it!
I tooo just got mine thaks for posting this as I need all the help I can get...excited to see what the "Brenda's" come up with!
