just got design studio..hints anyone???

Just broke down and got Design studio....I dont have a clue yet how
 it works and I'd love any hints anyone can throw my way...
for example how do the cut files work?..how do you download
and install them and are there any good websites that have
tutorials you've used and found helpfull???
thanks guys...
I cant wait to have time to play with it..
