Thanksgiving card

Hey everyone,
Long time no post..sorry...life has been keeping me
 very busy..
It is odd not having to go school supply shopping
for the first time ...our school year starts the first
day after labour day...I know some of your
 kids are already back....
   Our thanksgiving is in Oct verses Nov so I made
a quick card getting into fall mode...its supposed to
be 26-30 here on saturday and sunday..
crazy...
but loving it..
fall is my fav time of year but it can

 wait a bit yet..

What have I been up to???

B-day

 Well ladies I am still around.Sorry I have not posted

 any crafts in the last month

but our summer is so short and as I work night shifts
 I miss alot of the nice days

sleeping through them...I have kept busy with my
birthday,our 20th wedding

 aniversay,our day trips to Fundy national park,
the international kite  festival ,
(France,England,Haiti,New Zealand  etc...)

Acadian festival  in Dieppe and our
 sons 18th birthday...whew

see why no time to craft...

20th anniversay flowers

Hey everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far..

I went to Halifax on the weekend.About 2 1/2 hour

drive each way.It was a beautifull day 31 degrees

out.I wanted to go to photo memories to get scrapbook

 supplies that I can't find here ...We have a  micheal's ,

a Walmart and a local scrapbook shop but I wanted

something different.I was disapointed at the variety they

 carried ...

then  went to the waterfront and had supper at

Murphys.( scallops yum)..we got a habor side

table with an open window so we could smell

 the sea air

and watched the sailboats in the harbor...

unique water to land tour boat..harbor tour then drives on the streets for city tour...

We shopped the local shops and malls then headed home again...

I couldn't believe I forgot my camera....

I took a few pics from the Net to show those of you that

 dont know the area  what we saw and how

 pretty it is...(thanks to whom ever took these pics originally)

I have included a few picks of the scrap

 items I did get ( cheaper than at micheals).
so not a total loss...

I found a red gown yay..all were black or blue around home :)

and I love plaid and stiped papers....

Heat wave

we are having a heat wave 35+ more like 40 with humidity......

pss..thats very hot for us...

so I am going to eclipse again to enjoy the view

 and air conditioning...

to hot for crafting...
maybe next week..

plus tomorrow is my 44th birthday and

 i'll be out with my boys..
(and yea i know i am too old to enjoy that view
but I am just looking not
touching..lol..)

Travel in style--prom layout 2010

This is a layout of my sons prom...We rented him a red
 hummer to go with their outfits..
He was so pleased..he was beaming all day...
I made some paper roses and used diamond dust on one
 and smooch on the others...
I made the hummer on the cricut using stand and salute
(thanks again Barb...for the kind offer to make it for me..
I didnt have the cart but snagged it on ebay and it came
super fast..)...
I used graphically speaking for the titles...
2 imaginisce stamps and black ink...
patterened paper and bl/wh cardstock...

Happy Canada day
26 years ago today I met my husband..Love you babe...
here is to 26 more years....
